CEO/Executive Director/Board Comments
The strengths of the board lie in passion, commitment, talent and time. This is a very active board, with each member bringing their unique blend of experience and abilities to help move this organization forward. The weakness of the board is that it is made up entirely of volunteers who, since they are talented and passionate, are busy with many other things in their lives. The organization would benefit from either a board member who could operate as an executive director or to hire a part time executive director. Someone to manage the day to day and be able to have the entire scope of the organization in their purview. We would like to acquire additional Board Members from the community, and in so doing, hopefully obtain a greater variety of ideas and insight for our organization's future, and a greater presence in the communities we serve. Our Board of Directors continue to be on the lookout for such potential board members. |
