CEO/Executive Director/Board Comments
The amount of time, capacity, and energy to serve on a Board continues to diminish due to the demands of and responsibilities to families, work, communities, and self. And, as society continues to heighten the value of artificial relationships (through technology) less and less time is afforded to service through the traditional model of servant leadership on non-profit Boards. Our challenge is to craft a way forward for potential Board members to engage and remain engaged in servant leadership. We will be addressing this in our Board Succession Plan review in 2024. |
