CEO/Executive Director/Board Comments
Renewal House thrives on the diversity of its board in the areas of race, gender, age, socioeconomic status, political affiliation, and personal and professional experience. Each year, the team of former board presidents considers the agency's goals and the skill sets needed to keep moving forward. With these specifications, the team recruits new board members who are committed to our mission. The board prides itself on being inclusive and thoughtfully guides the agency's course. The board is active in directing agency growth without micro-managing the daily activities. Committees consisting of board members and community volunteers research and develop recommendations in their areas of expertise and bring them to the full board for action. |
