| Challenge: To provide awareness of services available, while maintaining confidentiality of program, clients and facilities. Opportunity: To educate the community that domestic violence services are needed in the community. That domestic violence is a direct result of power and control issues. Domestic violence does increase with additional family tensions such as addiction, financial hardships and mental health however, the core cause is the same. Additional Information: The board developed a category of Legacy Board Members. These members have served their term on the board The Executive Committee decides with consensus from other board members to ask the board member with an expiring term to stay on the board as a Legacy Member. |
