Linda's Experience: Prior to founding BRIDGES in 1998, Linda served as a Volunteer Coordinator for My Sister's House, a domestic violence shelter (1993-98); Reserve Sergeant for Franklin Police Dept (volunteer 1982-92); and Regional Representative for Telephone Pioneers, the social service agency of BellSouth (1978-88). She earned her B.A. in Business Administration from Liberty University. She has received two National Award: 100 People that Serve (Bridgestone/Firestone Award) and Sunshine Lady Peace Award (Dorris Buffet)

We are in kicking off a capital campaign for transitional housing. This will be challenging while maintaining current operational funding and management, with the same number of employees. We are currently establishing a board committee for the capital campaign to help with the added duties to accomplish goals.
