CEO/Executive Director/Board Comments
One big challenge is to reach the public and achieve the awareness of the value of the TPO to the community. The contribution of the TPO to the quality of life in the community, the intellectual development of students and the wellfare of our senior citizens cannot be measured. The public is not aware of what it takes to make the TPO program happen, both financially and organizationally. As is often the case, grants and donations to art organizations are cut first in economic downturns. The TPO is blessed with a very dedicated board and staff that put in hours of hard work fundraising and marketing to keep the TPO going. With a very low marketing and advertising budget, the TPO is also, increasing its outreach through collaboration with local schools and other art organizations in order to reach and inform a greater public. |
