| Beverly's Experience: Beverly Jones serves as Nashville Debate League's Acting Executive Director on a volunteer basis. She joined the league as a debate coach in its inaugural year and has worked with the league and its debaters ever since. Ms. Jones is a long-time educator who has worked for Metro Nashville Public Schools, the Houston Independent School District, and Volunteer State Community College. She also has been a community volunteer for many years. Most notably, she started and managed a tutoring program for refugees and coordinated an international exchange program. Ms. Jones holds degrees from the University of Tennessee and Vanderbilt University and has done additional graduate work in education at the University of St. Thomas and Trevecca University. | |
