Amy's Experience: Amy Saffell assumed the position of Executive Director of ABLE Youth in January of 2017. She started as a volunteer with ABLE Youth in 2004 and soon joined the staff as a programming and marketing assistant. Born and raised in Atlanta, GA, Amy grew up with a passion for adaptive sports and for leading children with disabilities to live full, productive, and independent lives. She has served on several Boards of Directors, enjoys public speaking, and is a published journalist. She holds a BA in Communications from Furman University in Greenville, SC.
