Kristy's Experience: Kristy is a Licensed Social Worker and Licensed Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselor who has been working with victims of domestic violence as well as incarcerated/formerly incarcerated females with substance abuse and mental health issues for over 20 years. She was the Program Director for The Next Door's re-entry program for almost 10 years. Prior to The Next Door she was leading trauma informed groups in the substance abuse program for the Davidson County Sheriff's Office. This is where her passion grew to help women re-enter society from incarceration. It is her mission, as is similar to the mission of Women of Worth, to provide healing through day-to-day structure and support for the clients served, to help them see they have value and worth . The overall goal is to help them become independent and self sufficient upon program completion. We also know that if they stay clean and sober it will reduce the rate of recidivism. |

Kristy Pomeroy and Holly Biggs, part-time Program Manager, have over 20 years experience working with the WOW population. After working together previously in a similar program, there is a respect and trust that makes them a strong, effective team. They have common goals and their approach to any given issue or problem is usually in alignment with each other and the mission of the program. Kristy and Holly are both committed to the success of the residents in the program. Catherine Hardin was added as a part-time Volunteer Coordinator in October 2021. |
