Description
WOW Recovery home serves women coming out of incarceration with a history or substance abuse and mental health issues. It is a re-entry program assisting residents with recovery skills and activities, case management, relapse prevention skills, employment skills, mentoring, transportation, drug testing and spiritual support. WOW Residents maintain employment at 30 hours per week, participate in individual and group counseling sessions, as well as community 12-step meetings and case management. WOW is a Tennessee Department of Corrections approved recovery home.
Program Successes
One of the 9 residents who completed the program obtained permanent housing and regained full custody of two teenage children. She is also thriving at her workplace and has become a Director of back of house at Chick-fil-A. She is now serving as a sponsor to other women in the 12 step program of NA.

Long-term Success
Women of Worth has been operating for 17 years and even through a transition of leadership, new Board and a pandemic, the agency has grown and is doing very well.
Short-term Success
Women of Worth has served 29 women since April 2020. Nine of those women successfully completed 6 months or longer in the program. There are currently 6 women in the program.
Program Success Monitored By
Each resident completes a self-sufficiency matrix at admission, 3 months and at 6 months. Residents also have random drug screens for substances.
