CEO/Executive Director/Board Comments
The Executive Director is responsible for the day-to-day operation of HOSC and reports to the Board of Directors. The Board operates under HOSC Bylaws and the Board of Directors meets monthly. In addition there is an additional HOSC Board of Advisers that meet as needed. HOSC opened its doors in August of 1995 and has been consistent in attendance for the last several years. We hosted 18,000 visitors last year (10,000+ of which were children). We host approximately 50 school groups a year and provide them a science show. We currently have over one hundred interactive exhibits. |
