Provides emergency communications and facilitates finanancial assistance, as well as health & wellness inquiries, to military personnel and their families back home. Works with families of injured soldiers during recovery.

Provides training of emergency first aid, adult, infant and child CPR, lifeguarding, babysitter and aquatics training for youth. Offers a variety of lifesaving products, such as family preparedness kits, AED devices, and first aid kits. Instructs the community and volunteers on how to prepare for and respond to disasters.

| The American Red Cross is a unique organization. We are a congressionally mandated non-profit organization, however, Red Cross does not receive federal funding. We are here for service to our communities and translate people's compassion into action. The American Red Cross is one unified organization comprised of approximately 230 chapters and 15 blood service regions nationwide. Nashville is the Red Cross headquarters to the Nashville Area Regional Chapter and the Tennessee Valley Blood Region. Both are located at 2201 Charlotte Avenue in Nashville. |
