MNAA is a ten-month commitment for the business owner, where participants meet once a month for a full day of entrepreneurial training. Up is a program in partnership with the Truist Foundation, that supports women-owned businesses as they scale to $1 million in revenue and create at least five jobs in a holistic way that caters to the "whole" woman. It delivers a business acceleration academy that integrates critical business knowledge and development skills with additional empowerment coaching focused on confidence building, leadership training, and emotional intelligence development. Each R.I.S.E. Up cohort will go through a multi-session, hands-on 2 learning academy that will holistically integrate community support in the form of mentors, coaches, trainers, and advisors. RISE UP will also establish connectivity with banking institutions, investors, partners, and key community and industry leaders across the Nashville, Tennessee metro and regional areas.

This program is ideal for companies that have been established at least two years, employ at least one individual, earn revenues of at least $150,000, and have a growth mindset. Most graduates of this program create a minimum of five jobs and earn revenues of at least $1 million. This program takes place over the course of 5 years and requires a minimum of a 3 year commitment.

| The Nashville Business Incubation Center offers a variety of programs to support entrepreneurs in their growth efforts. The traditional Incubator, or Mighty Oak, program is unique in that it offers an academic approach to business ownership along with a support system geared toward micro-enterprise. The three-year program allows for businesses in all stages to provide entrepreneurial support throughout their tenure at the incubation center, whether asking for advice from a fellow business owner in their first year or giving advice in their third. The biggest programming challenge the program faces is finding micro-enterprises who understand and are willing to embrace a more structured approach to entrepreneurship with proven programs that include business process reviews, accountability and educational events. NBIC currently depends on the referrals from stakeholders, bankers, procurement officers and Small Business Development Corporation. |
