Long-term Success
As the pandemic continues to magnify the inequities in this nation and in Nashville specifically, we anticipate that these programs will meet long-term needs. Specifically, our assessments of long-term success include increased number of clients served by our food pantry and GED preparatory courses, increased availability of items in the food pantry, and increased percentage of clients who acquire gainful employment after participating in our programs.
Short-term Success
Last year alone, we served over 100 people from our food pantry, providing food and toiletries weekly to those who were experiencing the devastating longterm effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. We continue to get calls from families who are looking for assistance, and we continue to help.
Program Success Monitored By
Program success is monitored by our Executive Director and his Administrative Assistant. The Administrative Assistant specifically keeps track of participants' demographics, their nutrition needs, and follow-up frequency. Additionally, she monitors job acquisition and certifications that participants may receive after participating in our food and/or GED preparatory programs.
