Description
The Mallie's Way Initiative aims to foster the introduction of yoga to early-age children and youth, specifically targeting low-income neighborhoods to ensure inclusivity. Our mission is to make yoga accessible to everyone, irrespective of race, age, gender, sexual orientation, religion, or physical and mental abilities. Emphasizing the universal nature of yoga, our program seeks to alleviate stress and promote a sense of freedom within the body. We are actively seeking partnerships with experienced organizations dedicated to teaching the practice of yoga, with a commitment to making this transformative discipline available to diverse communities.

Description
Volunteers are the lifeline of our organization giving hundreds of hours each year in order for 16:10 Now & Then, to continue its mission and create a better future for our families. They allow us to offer our clients the opportunity to collaborate with others in their industry in regards to information, advice and guidance. We train and supply all the tools necessary to successfully serve our community through our volunteer program. We recognize the value of providing service opportunities to the communities across the state. Volunteering opportunities are available for our food pantry as well as with our following partners: SportService (Bridgestone) and Legends (Nissan). These venues allow 16:10 Now & Then to volunteer, while raising funds, at all events held.

Description
The primary mission of 16:10, through its food pantry, is to provide emergency food to individuals and families, interceding during a crisis; such as illness, injury, abandonment, etc., and assist people awaiting their food stamps. Residents of Davidson and Rutherford County have access to 16:10, Now & Then Food Pantry every thirty (30) days. The Pantry is operated by a team of staff and volunteers that are dedicated to community service and treat our clients with the utmost respect. These individuals collect food, stock shelves, interview clients as well as shop, distribute and deliver food. Each volunteer works hard to ensure that the Pantry's clients receive needed supplies monthly

16:10 Financial Assistance Resource Program is a financial assistance program, in Davidson and Rutherford County, for clients in need of emergency assistance such as utility bill pay, rent or mortgage assistance and deposits for utilities and rental.

Program Eligibility/Requirements
In order to qualify for this benefit program, you must need financial assistance for home energy costs. You may also automatically qualify if you or a family member participates in certain other benefit programs, such as the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), Supplemental Security Income (SSI), Temporary Assistance for Needy Families
