Description
The R.H. Boyd Family Endowment Fund serves as a living memorial to Dr. R. H. Boyd, founder of the National Baptist Publishing Board, now known as R.H. Boyd Publishing Corporation. The Fund supports nonprofit organizations, churches, and eligible students to attain their goals for programming, higher education, and better communities. The purpose of our scholarships is to increase the number of minority undergraduate and graduate degree holders in certain fields of study, including business, theology, and English literature. Opportunities exist for Boyd Undergraduate Scholarships, Graduate level Boyd Fellowships, and community targeted Boyd Grants. The R.H. Boyd Family Endowment Fund has given more than $500,000 in scholarships to students at colleges and universities across the continental United States since 1981.
Program Successes
"Because of this scholarship, I am able to focus on my studies without the stress of loans. Thanks for your investment in students like myself. I plan to pay it forward by helping another student achieve their goals as you've helped me. Continuing my studies wouldn't be possible without the generous support from scholarship sponsors like yours." -- JP

"The Hope Clinic for Women is so grateful for the support of the R. H. Boyd Family Endowment Fund allowing minority women to receive medical care, counseling, case management, and mentorship. The funds helped reduce disparity of healthcare that minority women receive. With the funding the women were provided support and care they need so they can have a vibrant, healthy, equipped and abundant life." -- Hope Clinic For Women
