Description
Our "Living" services are for low-income families. We assist with celebrating the birthday's of our Kayson Kids in addition to baby showers, photography shoots, health and wellness, dance choreography, support for sporting events, and the importance of promoting unity amongst our youth.
Program Successes
The Kayson Kids Foundation has been honored to assist families of the Middle Tennessee area with birthday gifts for children of impoverished families. Gifts are provided such as; party favors, cupcakes, birthday cards, balloons, clothes, shoes, undergarments, socks, and personalized Kayson Kids T-shirts. Our team is prepared to purchase and prepare food with one of our very own board members as our personal chef, while singing "Happy Birthday" to our Kayson Kid(s) with a special Kayson Kids birthday rendition. In addition, for our International Kayson Kid, we have sent monthly donations to one of our children in Togo, West Africa since 2021. These funds assist with food, water, medical assistance, COVID 19 paraphernalia, and education. Monthly communications and pictures are sent from our CEO and staff directly. In May of 2022, we were able to fund a pizza party for some of our Kayson Kids at Una Elementary School.

Long-term Success
In a positive psychology research, gratitude is strongly and consistently associated with greater happiness. Gratitude helps people feel more positive emotions, relish good experiences, improve their health, deal with adversity, and build strong relationships. This is our God-given assignment. Children are our future. Suppose their future is brighter because of feelings of gratitude, love and appreciation.
Short-term Success
This program is to assist any family who is in need. Even the two parent households that may be living paycheck to paycheck. No child should feel sadness during their birthday or any other day because of financial lack. No parent should feel burdened because of that very thing either. Instead, their child's existence should be a reason to celebrate responsibly without the worries of financial setbacks. The Kayson Kids team is here to help with that! We have had the privilege of putting smiles on our children and families faces. Reassuring appreciation, reminding our children that they matter and they are important. Our love is expressed in a tangible way as our Kayson Kids parents match the love and show affection, words of affirmation and quality time.

Long-term Success
A 2008 study found that even 18 years after losing a child, bereaved parents reported "more depressive symptoms, poorer well-being, and more health problems and were more likely to have experienced a depressive episode and marital disruption." In 2019, 56% of the children who left foster care were reunited with their families or living with a relative; 26% were adopted. The general fertility rate was 55.8 births per 1,000 women aged 15-44, down 4% from 2019 to reach another record low for the United States. The total fertility rate was 1,637.5 births per 1,000 women in 2020, down 4% from 2019 to also reach another record low for the nation. By offering the "Hoped For" services to The Kayson Kids Foundation children and families, we have the ability to increase these numbers and do our part in changing the narrative.
Short-term Success
This is an opportunity for families to be seen and heard by the people of their community in hopes of receiving the attention this topic deserves. Allowing people to live in their truth free of shame while connecting on a deeper foundation, the word of God.
