CEO/Executive Director/Board Comments

Fashioned In His Image, like so many non-profit organizations continues to face financial challenges due to the economy. Yet, we are committed to fulfilling our mission to provide outreach services to women and teen girls. In some programs we have reduced the number of service hours but not the number of people we serve. We have cut-back on administrative funds which means more work for staff and volunteers. We are continually re-evaluating how we are conducting programs and identifying only those we deem impactful. We incorporated many of our programs to overlap with other programs which in the past were separate activities. Our Board of Directors have always supported our programs, but now they are taking on some leading roles in program planning as well as their governance obligations. We are grateful to maintain the collaborative partnerships that have been formed to accomplish our goals and the goals of other community organizations.
