Description
Outreach Services include: 1. Violence Assessment 2. Specific Victim Information (Individual/Group) 3. Safety Planning 4. Personal Advocacy 5. Court Advocacy/ Accompaniment 6. Resources (food boxes, personal care items, etc.) 7. Referrals. In fiscal year 2015, 1,968 victims received direct support/systems advocacy services, 2,596 hours of individual counseling/support group sessions, and 445 order's of protection assistance. Ninety-six percent of Haven of Hope clients obtain outreach services prior to attempting to leave. It is imperative that we continue to provided outreach services to reduce further danger to our clients. Statistics show that victims are in more danger as they are attempting to leave or after they've already left; 75% of women that are murdered fall into this category.

Description
The Haven of Hope services provide emergency and community-based support to victims of domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking. Three main programs:1.Emergency Services 2. Outreach Services 3. Housing Assistance The programming centers on a structured, positive approach based on the proposed needs of the victim: 1. Learn to access resources 2. To increase feelings of physical safety 3. To increase understanding of violence & its effects on their lives 4.To increase healthy coping skills 5. Overall satisfaction with services.

Description
Emergency Services provided include: 1. 24-hour Crisis Hotline (crisis counseling, assessment, safety planning, resources, etc.) 2. Emergency Shelter (short/long-term planning for housing, work, safety, mental & physical health, etc.) 3. Emergency food & clothing 4. Coordination of transportation to safety. Fiscal year 2018 the Haven provided over 3,000 responses to crisis calls. Twenty-four (24) victims in immediate danger were provided safe shelter.

Description
To aid victims in obtaining or maintaining safe housing through: 1. Development of housing maintenance/relocation plan 2. Coordinated effort to more easily access vacant property 3. Collaborate with property managers to develop a priority status for victims 4. Support in preparing appropriate applications to attain housing 5. Availability of emergency funds 6. Establishment of "voucher" systems in collaborations with area businesses, utility and housing/rental companies/government agencies; 7. Personal advocacy (information/guidance on necessary life skill issues such as budgeting, maintaining a job, health/child care issues, transportation, etc.); and 8. Instruction about tactics abusers utilize to control their victims specific to attempts to take away housing or indirect actions that may result in loss of housing (i.e. refusing to pay child support, causing problems that result in victim losing job, committing a crime on or vandalizing property, etc.).
