Description
The Borderless Dance Community meets in both a digital and in-person format. In 2022, the group performed at Disney World. They are the first dance group of all dancers with disabilities to be invited to participate in this Dance the World event.
In 2023, the group will perform on a stage on Broadway. They have been invited to perform in Finland in 2024.
Program Successes
The program has already completed a special dance initiative with the MTSU dance program, connected to the Space Arts Foundation for a special project, and they coordinated an international digital dance festival. They are now preparing to dance at Disney World.

The Teapot Diplomat Program is a visual arts program for individuals of all ages with all forms of disabilities. The group meets at least once a month to learn new art techniques. The motto of this program is CreativiTea through DiversiTea for ComminiTea. The participants take the art that they create and use it in a variety of ways to help the communities in which they live. They sell their art and give part of the proceeds to a community good. They have offered diversity training on disabilities and teach art techniques to others with disabilities. They participate in international art and education exchanges. The group offers a certification program in arts business, communication and technique.
Program Successes
1) A piece of art was accepted into the US State Department's Art in Embassies program
2) Art has been shared and shown on every continent
3) Art was placed on an astronaut's spacesuit for a mission called Beyond
4) A member of the group designed the jerseys for the Nashville Sounds for one of their games representing inclusion
5) The group has been approached by Wendover Art for partnerships
6) Art was accepted by the Sumner County Commissioners for a historic location demonstrating horse heritage
7) Art has been accepted by the Nashville Predators, Nashville Sounds, Sun Records, CMI

| Our organization is in need of space for our programs. We held our programs at the Sumner Teen Center. Unfortunately, this organization went out of business in 2020 due to the Pandemic. However, for two years, we held all of our programs online so a space was not needed. Now that we are beginning to hold more projects in person, we are in need of space for our dance, music and visual arts activities. |
