Program Successes
Testimonial from Maria: After being in my addiction for 20 years, I had lost everything. I got to a point where I was lost with no idea of a solution and no help finding one. After spending 21 days looking for a sober living, I decided on Healing House. It was absolutely the best decision I could've possibly made for myself and my daughter. I came to the house with 2 changes of clothes, the pair of shoes I had on, and no money. I was terrified. Healing House provided me with groceries, resources for clothing, and never asked anything of me except to take the time to focus on myself and healing. I was also given a chance to go to a program through the house where I was able to regain employment. Upon leaving the program, I left with therapy, money in a savings account, a car, and relationships with women that I now consider family. I'm incredibly thankful for them going above and beyond any expectations I had for a sober living

Long-term Success
Since launching in 2017, HH has served more than 400 women, housed more than 200, and celebrated more than 75 graduations from our program. 100% of graduates have completed IOP and are employed by the end of their stay, and over 80% have remained drug and alcohol-free during their 6-month program. All residents report significant decreases in anxiety, PTSD, depression, and increased overall emotional, spiritual, dental, and physical wellness. 75% have started the process of regaining custody of their children and restoring family relationships. A built-in HH program provides residents an individual savings plan to use upon graduation for their move-out and next step expenses.

"The resources provided by Healing Housing set them apart from other sober living, but the defining factor is (the) team truly and deeply care about the women in their program. I have had clients who have been a part of this community describe the program as "you couldn't have put into words how amazing the w

CEO/Executive Director/Board Comments

Recovery is not an event, it is a process. By the time residents come to Healing Housing they have completed 30 days of residential treatment for substance and/or alcohol abuse. Having safe housing, recovery support, mentorship and accountability are all essential steps for positive reintegration back into our community. We are not stuck in the problem that exists, we are seated in the solution.
