Recovery in Community is a three-part initiative to enhance patient care and further Cumberland Heights' mission of transforming lives for future generations. The first project is a new ARCH Academy campus specifically designed to serve adolescent females, ages 14-18, who are struggling with substance use disorder. The second project is a new Men's Residential and Therapeutic Complex, which will increase the dedicated men's residential space by 33%. The third project is the construction of a new Women's Residential and Therapeutic Complex. These new complexes were designed in consultation with Cumberland Heights' clinical staff to encourage the growth of communities among patients, implement needed safety precautions, and remove barriers to early recovery. Cumberland Heights is seeking $36 million in investments and private philanthropic support to fund the entire initiative. Creating these spaces will foster healing, community, and growth, allowing lifelong recovery to take root. The value of the impact of this initiative is immeasurable, for it will ensure Cumberland Heights' quality care will be available to help future generations thrive in recovery throughout their lives.

CEO/Executive Director/Board Comments
Cumberland Heights is a nationally recognized treatment center with a reputation for providing top quality care in a cost effective manner. Sadly, many people who are in need of our services do not have insurance or the personal resources to cover the costs. Fortunately, many patients and families are helped by community donors and foundations that provide financial aid through the Patient Assistance Fund. Adolescent treatment is further aided by the John Hiatt Fund and the benefit concert for Cumberland Heights. In addition to those patients and families who are helped through donations to our Patient Assistance Fund, Cumberland Heights provides a substantial amount of unreimbursed care to those deserving individuals who want and need our help. Traditionally, the donor community and alumni base have helped Cumberland Heights maintain and expand its campus to meet the growing needs of our mission and the community through capital projects. |
