NAMI Davidson Co. is fortunate to have the leadership of Mary Pawlikowski, President of Vanderbilt Behavioral Health, Nashville. Ms. Pawlikowski was elected NAMI Davidson Board President in July 2020. She is currently in her second year of a two-year term. Ms. Pawlikowski has served over 30 years in the mental health field. She joined Vanderbilt Behavioral Health after a move from a hospital system in New Jersey. At that time, she was involved with NAMI New Jersey. Upon moving to Nashville, she offered her services to NAMI Davidson Co. The organization was delighted to have someone with prior experience in the national network. Ms. Pawlikowski enjoys organizational development. She looks forward to helping the agency strengthen its infrastructure and grow its board participation.
Matt Loftus, CFP, Raymond James, has stepped up to the position of Vice President, after serving 2 years as Secretary. Vivian Bowles of Info serves as Board Treasurer. She has worked closely with staff on evolving the Chart of Accounts and financial reports. All have been active in the NAMIWalks Greater Nashville and the annual Well Within Awards, in support of funding for agency goals. Neel Deshspande recently accepted the role of Secretary for NAMI Davidson Co. Mr. Deshspande's career included time served on Mayor Karl Dean's team, past political campaign development and is currently with with Concord and their diverse portfolio of music and multimedia properties.
