Loren's Experience: Mr. Russell, Executive Director of the DJJALC/SASCH, duties include, but are not limited to, overseeing the day-to-day operations (including delivery of healthcare) of the assisted living center and the senior citizens' home; hiring, directing, and overseeing staff and volunteers; conducting performance reviews for a work force including the Director of Resident Care, Facilities Manager, Administrative Assistant, Special Projects/Activities Coordinator, Kitchen Manager, and Receptionist; promoting and maintaining a safe environment for residents, guests, and staff; and ensuring the DJJALC's compliance with applicable federal and state laws. He is responsible for overseeing the quality of resident care services by recruiting and retaining a well-qualified staff and ensuring that residents' physical and social needs are met. Mr. Russell's most recent background and experience were as the Statewide Program Director for the State of Tennessee - Hospital. He led cross-functional teams in program/project management, improvement in patient outcomes, & increased client and employee satisfaction. He has a strong background in healthcare management, mental health operations, interpretation of compliance with applicable state and federal regulations. With Mr. Russell's excellent management skills, he trains, coaches, and mentors team members for career growth and optimal performance.
