Mission

Our mission is to merge the bridge of the community and come together as one. NOCX Inc. works to support and assist families and schools to overcome and resolve issues of concern such as developing general life skills, positive decision-making skills, strengthen interpersonal relationships, bullying behavior, and refining a positive image of self. NOCX Inc. believes that all youth deserve a nurturing, vibrant, positive learning environment that stimulates their individual hope to explore and discover meaning in the world and their place within it. NOCX is here with the vision of implementing change into our community, to create opportunities where it seemed impossible and most of all to create a foundation for the youth to be able to thrive in exploring and nurturing their own dreams and ambitions.

Background

NOCX Inc. which stands for Now Opportunities Can Exist is a 501c3 nonprofit located in Nashville, TN established 2/18/2018. Our organization was started with the vision of implementing change into our community. We strive to create opportunities where it seemed impossible and most of all to create a foundation for the youth to be able to thrive in exploring and nurturing their own dreams and ambitions. Since 2018 we have been focused on combating food insecurity and economic pressures that underprivileged low-income individuals and families face. We are actively in the community handing out food and essential supplies to the community and implementing our youth programs.

Impact

In 2020 NOCX was able to provide meals to 2,880 Individuals in the Davidson county and surrounding areas.

NOCX was spotlighted on News Channel 5 during the NOCX Thanksgiving Event.

NOCX was able to assist multiple families with rental and utility assistance during this COVID-19 pandemic.

NOCX is striving to expand to a bigger location to expand our food pantry for our food initiative and to expand our other community programs.

We are excited to also continue implementing our youth program Focus & Flow Healing. Our youth are the present and the future and Focus & Flow Healing program will help to catapult our youth emotionally where they will be able to process and work through their emotions and feelings in a positive, constructive way. National statistics also show that this generation needs basic social and emotional skills which are essential to thrive as adults. It is important that we teach valuable life skills such as high self-esteem, self-confidence, empowerment, support, resilience, positive values, and identity.

We are also looking forward to bringing back our Angels for NOCX angel tree program for 2021. We had a huge request to bring it back.

Needs

We are looking to expand to a bigger location to expand our youth programs and add our youth gardening initiative. The budget for the new location is $60,000 for the year. Or looking for a building to be donated to Now Opportunities Can Exist.

We are in need of non perishable food items and baby items.

We are always in need of volunteers to assist with our youth programs and food pantry.

We are looking to raise money for our Angels for NOCX Christmas angel tree program. $10,000
