Description
Medically Monitored DetoxClients treated until signs and symptoms of withdrawal have resolved. The average length of stay in the detox setting is approximately three to five days. ResidentialA comprehensive, high intensity and structured inpatient treatment program where clients meet multiple hours each day during week days/nights and have continuous structured, yet less intensive, programming on weekends. Partial Hospitalization(PHP) continues with the high therapeutic intensity and recovery focus like the Residential Transition Program, but with less structure. It is an outpatient program that meets five hours a day and up to five days a week. Intensive Outpatient(IOP) is a high therapeutic intensity and recovery focus program, but with less structure. It is an outpatient program that meets 3 hours a day 4 days a week. IOP clients receive intensive day treatment and return home at night to practice their recovery skills. Recovery Care Clinic(RCC) provides medication assisted treatment (MAT) services as an outpatient option for clients. They meet once a week for therapy, case management, and medication monitoring. This is the lowest level of care, providing enough support and structure for women to continue success in recovery with enough freedom that allows them to work toward full independence.

The Next Door Chattanooga prepares women on parole for independent living free from drug and alcohol abuse. The Next Door Chattanooga offers a unique program in partnership with the Tennessee Department of Correction. Women served by The Next Door at the Chattanooga location are currently on parole and receive transitional services rooted in evidence-based practices to address the needs of the women. Women are transported from prison to The Next Door Chattanooga's Correctional Release Center. While at the Correctional Release Center, women receive addiction treatment and trauma services and work toward gaining job and life skills that will assist in a productive re-entry into society. CEO/Executive Director/Board Comments

The programs offered at The Next Door are designed to be gender-specific and person-centered. Addiction is a chronic disease that is affected greatly by co-occurring disorders, such as mental illness. The agency's treatment continuum offers a full variety of treatment options to help women develop the skills needed to maintain a lifetime in recovery, and care from TND's professionally-trained staff is rooted in the organization's foundation in faith and compassion. The Next Door strives to make life-saving addiction treatment accessible to all women. Due to COVID-19, 2020 is now considered the deadliest year for overdoses in Tennessee's history, and 2021 is already amassing higher numbers than 2020. The need for addiction treatment and associated services exceeds the options available to women in crisis. TND Nashville offers the following treatment options: medically-monitored detox (accessible to pregnant women); inpatient residential treatment, partial-hospitalization, and intensive outpatient programming. In 2019, the organization began offering medication-assisted treatment option and a new Recovery Care Clinic (RCC), which expanded the organization's outpatient services. Both programs are conducted under the supervision of TND's Medical Director, Dr. Michael Ferri, M.D.
