Description
We offer counseling to trauma survivors, including domestic and sexual violence survivors who are referred from local shelters, lawyers, churches etc. With each survivor, therapy is focused on empowerment, self-efficacy, safety planning, goal setting, self-discovery, processing loss, and creating boundaries. Through this program the survivor is able to decrease symptoms of PTSD, is educated about power and control, the cycle of violence and about what constitutes health in relationships. One in three women report being abused by a partner at some point in their lives, so the need for a confidential and affordable resource for women to begin their healing journey is apparent. TRC meets this need.
Program Success Monitored By
Success is measured by the number of women who complete physical and emotional safety plans with their counselor and by the number of women who make a self-report of having identified their resources and options, and feel empowered having been able to do so. When using EMDR in trauma therapy success is measured by a SUD of 0, a VOC of 7, and a clear body-scan.

Description
The biggest benefit of group therapy is realizing that you are not alone in your struggle. We are wounded in isolation; we are healed in community. Within the safety and trust of a group and led by skilled therapists, you can experience healing vulnerability and authenticity, learn from others, and become empowered for making sustainable changes in your life. When you participate in a group therapy intensive, you have the opportunity to work on your goals at a deeper level because of the extra time provided. Group intensives provide space for noticeable shifts or changes over the course of a half or whole day. Most people who participate in group intensives report ending in a different place mentally or emotionally than when they started.

Description
Neurofeedback is an advanced intervention that trains the brain to operate at its highest potential and has been shown to be beneficial for all ages. Often, within approximately 20 sessions, clients notice enhanced brain functioning and symptom reduction. During a session, sensors are attached to specific areas of the scalp to measure brain wave activity and exercise neural pathways. The information is displayed on a computer screen, providing real-time information about brain activity patterns, allowing both viewing and monitoring of neurological activity. The client simply watches a program on a monitor and receives audio and visual feedback that stimulates the brain. Before starting , a therapist will conduct a thorough assessment to discuss symptoms. The therapist will then create a training protocol outlining which areas of the brain to train.

CEO/Executive Director/Board Comments

Budget could not be extracted for individual programs as expenses are shared for each type of therapy offered. All programs are part of our overall $2,995,350 counseling revenue budget for FY 24-25. For this reason, they are showing as 0 budget to add programs.
