Description
Hidden Bee Animal Rescue is focused on the rescue and rehabilitation of abused and neglected farm animals. This program identifies the severity of abuse/neglect (physically, mentally, and socially). Then in conjunction with our Veterinarian develops an appropriate recovery action plan. While some recovery plans consist of only a few weeks, most of the animals taken in by Hidden Bee Animal Rescue require a much longer recovery strategy consisting of many months.

While some animals may be rehabilitated before finding a new forever home, many animals will ultimately live out the remainder of their life on Hidden Bee Farm - where their lives will be filled with peace, love, and comfort.

In addition, the program includes community events and activities allowing people to engage with the animals while learning their history and struggles. These engagement activities better educate the community in animal awareness and cruelty prevention.

Description
Autism and Animals is a program that provides autistic children and families the opportunity to meet and engage farm animals in a safe environment either in a large event group setting or a small more intimate setting to better meet the individual needs and/or limitations of the autistic individual. While the Hidden Bee Animal Rescue helps and heals abused, injured, and/or mistreated farm animals, it is these same animals that have provided incredible joy to many autistic and special needs children. Many autistic children have incredible challenges, but they also have a tender and pure heart as well as love/compassion/care for animals- even if they are unable to effectively communicate it. The non-verbal communication and connection with the animals is incredible to see. In addition, the program hosts various Autism events at the farm such as "Sensory Day".
