Danny's Experience: Danny J. Herron is President and CEO of Habitat for Humanity of Greater Nashville, which ranks 5th out of more than 1,200 U.S. Habitat affiliates in terms of number of new homes built. In 2020, Habitat of Greater Nashville surpassed 950 homes, including 21 homes built as part of the Jimmy & Rosalynn Carter Work Project in 2019. Habitat of Greater Nashville has been consistently recognized by the EPA for Sustained Excellence in affordable housing. In 2020, Danny was named as one of Nashville's Most Admired CEOs by the Nashville Business Journal, and in 2021 was included on the Nashville Post's In Charge list, recognizing business, political and civic leaders across Middle Tennessee. Danny joined Habitat of Greater Nashville in 2010 as its President and CEO. Previously, he held a variety of leadership positions, primarily in banking and real estate, including serving as President and CEO of Cumberland Bank from 1993 to 2009.
