Because we are a small group from a tiny town, we often have trouble finding those who are both willing and eligible to serve on the board. In an effort to keep the organization from being run by the same people all the time and to bring in fresh ideas and talents, we have limited board terms to three years and then one may serve two consecutive terms. After that one must lay out a complete three year cycle before serving again. The Board is a five to seven member board, which means approximately 25% of our working membership serves on the board at any one time.
