CEO/Executive Director/Board Comments
Humanities Tennessee is a fiscally conservative organization that is working to diversify its funding base of support to include more individual, private and corporate foundation, corporate sponsorship and other support to ensure sustainability. We are also advocating for continued support from the National Endowment for the Humanities and Arts to be able to continue to build on our programs that impact Tennesseans of all ages and backgrounds. We welcome support from the general community and inquiries about how you might be able to participate in our programs and supporting our efforts around the state. Humanities Tennessee recently changed the fiscal year in which we operate from calendar year to July-June. |
Foundation Staff Comments
Financial figures taken from the 990. Financial documents prepared by UHY Advisors MO, Inc. Humanities Tennessee changed fiscal years halfway through 2018, from Jan-Dec to Jul-Jun. Because of that, there was an abbreviated 2018 fiscal year from Jan-Jun. The FY2019 audit will cover that 6-month period as well. Comments provided by Hayley Sulfridge 6/26/24. |
